빨간 노트란 이름에 걸맞게 요즘 쓰는 노트는 빨간색이다. 겉표지가 펠트천이라서 점차 때가 타고 천이 후즐근해지며 화가의 스웨터처럼 변해가는게 정이 간다. 이열치열, 여름엔 더워보이는 물건이 좋다.
