맨 위의 자화상은 크기가 각 2X2 인치로 굉장히 작다고 한다. 실제로 보면 놀랍다는데 2인치 두께의 나무패널에 플랭드르 르네상스 기법으로 수채화 브러쉬로 얇은 레이어를 겹쳐 그려 바니쉬를 두껍게 입히고 어쩌고 한 굉장히 정교한 초상화들이라고 한다. 나머지 이미지들과 대조적.
