오스트리아의 디자이너 마리아 마르티나 슈미트가 2004년 디자인한 쿼턴. 세가지 굵기의 유니케이스 타입페이스다. 어센더 디센더가 없고 한글처럼 네모꼴에 들어갈수 있는 형태다. 대소문자가 섞여있는데 대문자, 소문자 형태는 미묘하게 다르다. 특히 Q 같은 형태가 특이하다. 카운터스페이스에 각이 있는 경우가 많고 형태에서 둥근 부분과 각진 부분이 서로 마주하면서 긴장이 생기는 경우가 많아 흥미로운 shape가 많이 생기는것 같다. 공업적이고 미래적인 느낌도 나는데 서체 굵기에 따라 확대했을때 형태의 느낌이 다양하다. 본문텍스트로의 모양도 흥미롭기도 하지만 크게 볼때가 훨씬 이쁜듯. 리노타입에서 판매.

타입사이즈를 크게 해서 타이틀 같은데 쓰면 좋겠네요
개인적으론 패러그라프용으로 쓸수있는 작고 예쁜 한글폰트가 개발됐으면 합니다
굴림, 돋움 너무 지겨워요~ 더작으면서 안깨지고 예쁜폰트는 불가능한 걸까요?

그쵸~ 음 스크린디스플레이용 한글폰트를 말씀하시는거죠? 한글서체디자인은 서양에 비해 공급/수요가 한정적이고 역사도 짧은데다 서체디자인쪽은 수익도 많지 않아서 디자이너들이 그쪽으로 가기를 기피하는것 같아요. 네모꼴일때 한글은 영어에 비해 글씨가 작아지면 이독성에 문제가 생기는듯 한데,,,해상도 사양이 바뀌어가면서 글씨크기 문제도 달라지겠죠? PDA나 핸드폰 글씨들은 고려할 점들이 또 많이 다르더라구요. 윤디자인같은 곳의 웹고딕도 있고 다른 용도로는 윤서체나 산돌서체 이쁜것두 많지만, 표준화에 있어서는 결국 돈과 라이선스 문제인것 같아요 ㅠㅠ
